Financial Needs and Graduation- A Letter From President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell

Dear Friends,

This past week we sent a letter to our Alumni requesting them to pray for, and help us with some urgent financial needs. Would you also pray for these needs? A great burden would be lifted if we could be debt free in just a few weeks. It would help us to do all that we have purposed to do this summer, and prepare us for a great fall semester.

This is our last week of classes. Monday will start a week of closing activities. Rev. Ted Shuttlesworth Jr. will be the special speaker at our convention. Graduation will be held on Saturday, May 4th. It would be our pleasure to have you attend the convention and graduation. For more information, see our website: www.faithschool.org

Blessings,

Now Offering Degrees!- A Letter From President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell

Dear Friends,

Rejoice with us! On April 15, 2013, I was in Atlanta, Georgia, at the convention of the IABCS. We had previously applied with them for a religious accreditation for our school. On that day they granted us membership status. Membership status recognizes us as an accredited school with them. We will begin our four-year program this fall. For more details you may visit our website: www.faithschool.org

This accreditation is a religious accreditation, and not a government accreditation. Therefore, students are not eligible for loans or Pell Grants. We are, however, continuing to strive to keep our costs as low as possible for the student.

We believe that Faith is looking at a bright future, and again we ask you to rejoice with us.

Blessings,

(Dr.) Jeffrey A. Bell

Crusades and Campus Days- A Letter from President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell

Dear Friends,

Our students have returned from Spring Crusade. They brought back many good reports of what the Lord has done. We have heard of at least fourteen salvations, four healings, and two baptisms in the Holy Spirit. Rev. and Mrs. Andy DeRier took a singing duet to Canada for the Crusade. Dr. Gail Januskiewicz and the Drama Team went as far as Kentucky. My trio and I traveled from Massachusetts to North Carolina (and points in between) singing and preaching the Gospel. We are grateful for all the churches that host our students during the Crusades, and give them additional mentoring for ministry.

Please keep us in your prayers as Campus Days takes places from April 4 - 6. We are expecting many guests, both young and older, as they come to check out and experience our school. We trust that many of them will decide to pursue their Christian education at Faith.

Blessings,

(Dr.) Jeffrey A. Bell

Happenings in Ghana- A Letter from President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell

Dear Friends,

Last week I was in Ghana where the temperature was 90 degrees. This week I am in Charleston with lots of snow and rain.

It was necessary for me to go to Ghana on school business. I am glad to report that all is going well there. Our staff is in good spirits. All are planning to stay for another year.

We were excited to see progress on the aquaculture part of the school. A pond has been dug and will be stocked with talaphia fish. This will eventually help with the economy of the school.

We have 33 students in Sogakope and have outgrown our rented facilities. Pictured is a building that may be available to us. Please pray that the owner will be willing to sell and that finances will be there for the purchase of the same. This building would give us potential for growth.

In Charleston we are preparing for Spring Crusade, March 8 - 18. Student teams will travel to various churches where pastors will further Mentor them For Ministry. Please keep the Crusade endeavor in your prayers.

Blessings,

Prayers and Blessings- A Letter From President Dr. Jeffrey A Bell

Dear Friends,

The Board of Directors of Faith School of Theology will meet on Monday, February 11th, 2013. We will be making some major decisions at that time, and desire your prayers.

In December and January we had some major snowstorms in Maine. Our plow truck developed mechanical problems, and we had no reverse gear. Needless to say, it was not of much use, and seemingly could not be repaired. We praise God that we were able to find and purchase another truck and it is working well for us.

Students will leave for break on February 15th. I will be in Ghana from the 17th to the 26th to conduct business for our Ghanaian campus. Please pray that all will work in our favor.

God bless you.

Blessings,

(Dr.) Jeffrey A. Bell

Tour the Campus!- A Letter from President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell

Dear Friends,

I am presently at our campus in Sogakope, Ghana, Africa, where I am enjoying the fellowship of the staff and students. This is their first week of the new semester. I will return to the Charleston campus on January 21st.

In the last two years there have been some changes in the physical appearance of our Charleston, Maine, campus. If you will go to our website (link on this page) you will be able to take a virtual tour of the campus, and see some of those changes. We trust you will rejoice with us when you see how the Lord has blessed us.

Blessings,

News From the Schools- A letter From President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell

Dear Danielle,

Proverbs 11:30 - The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.  We were so excited to hear how our Ghanaian students put this verse into action.

On December 30 a group of students decided to practice what they had learned in Personal Evangelism class. They went to a nearby village and performed a drama. After a few hours of witnessing they had led 100 souls to Jesus! May they keep practicing!

I will be flying to Ghana today to spend a few days with our staff and students, as they open a new semester.

On January 4th we welcomed new students to the Charleston campus.  Among the new students are a young man from Brazil and two ladies from India. Rev. Sterling Lawrence of Smyrna Mills, Maine, was our special speaker! There was a wonderful anointing of the Holy Spirit in each service, and life-changing commitments were made at the altars.

Please keep our schools in your prayers.

Blessings,
