Dear Friends,
We felt like we were making history as we held our annual Christmas Banquet at Faith Auditorium on Friday, December 7th. This is the first time we have used the renovated facility for an occasion other than a gym event. The Student Association sponsored this social time, and a good time was had by all.
Students leave on Friday, December 14th for Christmas break. They will return on Thursday, January 3rd to start the spring semester. We will resume our e-mails at that time.
We wish you and yours a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! May many blessings come your way during this special season.

A Vehicle for Jesus- A Letter from President Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends,
We are so grateful for our staff at Faith Theological and Aquaculture School in Sogakope, Ghana, West Africa. Those staff members are Dr. Edith Coombes, Mr. Michael Coombes, Mrs. Anette McClellan, Mr. Gordon Blakeney, Mrs. Kelly Blakeney, and Miss Alyse DeMars. All except the Coombes are alumni of Faith School in Charleston. This group has been sent by the Charleston school to train workers for the harvest field in Africa.
None of these workers have a vehicle. If they want to go any distance they secure a taxi cab. If they desire to take a group of students (there are 30), they must rent a vehicle large enough to carry them. A faithful donor has pledged matching funds up to $10,000 towards a vehicle. We are praying for another $10,000 to complete the purchase. Please pray with us about this need. If you want to be a part of this blessing, contact us at (207) 285-3373 or donate on line atwww.faithschool.org/donate.

Giving Thanks- A Letter From President Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends,
I Thessalonians 5:18 - In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
It is Thanksgiving season. Students and staff will be on break from November 17 - 26. I am thankful for our staff and all their labors at Faith. I am also thankful for our students. They are the very reason we exist.
We want to give thanks for YOU who pray for and support us in any way. We make mention of YOU in our prayers, asking God to bless YOU. We trust that you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving time as you gather with friends and family.
My wife, Faith, and I will be ministering over this Thanksgiving break. We will also be able to be with her family for Thanksgiving. I will resume my communication with you the last week in November.
P.S. We would appreciate your prayers for a very important Board of Directors meeting on Monday, November 26th.

Jesus Loves the Little Children- A Letter From President Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends,
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN! ALL THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD!
Our team in Ghana is doing a superb work at Faith Theological and Agricultural School in Sogakope. FTAS keeps them extremely busy. They are also trying to help out at a Christian school in Sogakope.
There is a great opportunity for a husband and wife team who are interested in ministry with children. This couple needs to be willing to raise their own support and go to Ghana for one year to work in this Christian school of over two hundred students. The school has brand new facilities. There is the opportunity to train teachers as well as instill Christian principles into these little ones.
Please pray that God will raise up someone for this ministry. For further details contact me at the following e-mail: president@faithschool.

Our Founder- A Letter From President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends,
This week, we want to honor our founder, Dr. Russell K. Pier. He will celebrate his 87th birthday on Thursday, October 11th. Dr. Pier founded Faith School of Theology in 1959. He administrated and taught at the school for over 40 years. We are indeed grateful for all the sacrifices that he made over the years. He presently resides in Lakeland, Florida, with his wife, Joan. Retired? Oh, no! He is still preaching and teaching the Word of God.
Dr. Pier will appreciate your prayers. He recently injured his shoulder in a scooter accident, and he is facing a recovery period of about ten weeks.

Missions Seminar- A Letter From President Jeffrey A.Bell
Dear Friends,
Our Missions Seminar will be held on Friday, September 28. This all day and evening event is built into our academic calendar. Our main speaker will be Rev. Brad Whipple. Speaker for the workshops will be Rev. Seth Aumock. If you are in the area, please feel free to attend.
Faith School endeavors to keep our costs low for the student. When a student graduates he/she will not be in great debt, and will be able to go to their field of ministry as quickly as possible.
Pictured are four of our alumni who are preaching and teaching at the Faith Theological and Agricultural school in Ghana. This team works under the direction of Dr. Edith Coombes and her husband, Michael. Gordon and Kelly Blakeney graduated in May 2012, Alyse DeMars in 2011. Anette McClellan had previous missionary experience and attended classes at Faith for a year and a half. Had they had a large debt to pay, after school, they would not be on the mission field at this time.

A New Year has Begun!- A Letter from President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends,
"It is the Holy Spirit that causes the knowledge to work." Dr. Gary Heffler of Brunswick, Maryland, was this semester's opening convention speaker. His messages on the work of the Holy Spirit were a great blessing to students and staff. Dr. Heffler attended Faith for two years (1974 - 1976). His son, Timothy, is now a junior at Faith.
On Monday, August 20th, we welcomed the freshmen as they arrived on campus - ready to start their journey on the way to ministry. Thursday, the 23rd brought our juniors and seniors back to us. Several of them had been involved in ministry internships, some had worked secular jobs, and were ready for a spiritual refreshing. Classes started on Monday, the 27th.
The students will be involved in many activities this year - classes, chapels, prayer groups, mentor groups, outside ministry, social times, and SWAP jobs. The knowledge that they receive in these different areas will be made effective by the Holy Spirit. Would you commit to pray for them, that they will keep them strong in their walk with God?
Blessings,

Dear Friends,
My wife, Faith, and I will return to Charleston on Friday, August 10th. We believe we have had a successful trip, as we have made some new contacts for the school. We also incorporated a few days of vacation along the way. It was a pleasure to see several of our former students in the different churches. We were especially pleased to see a few of the alumni in the Tuesday, August 7, service in Brunswick, Maryland. They are pictured here.
We look forward with anticipation to seeing the staff who have been working so diligently on the campus this summer.

Facelift - Check out the cafeteria! - A letter from the President Dr. Jeffery A. Bell
Dear Friends,
In the summer time our staff wear many hats. Last summer during the Nehemiah Project we were able to lay a new tile floor in our dining room. This year we have painted the walls. They are asian pear with a contrasting wall of cheris. We have learned that bright colors appeal to students. Special thanks to Rev. Alexis Topolski (Faith School Bookkeeper), Rev. Dennis J. Michaud (Director of Public Relations) and Mrs. Amanda Kneeland (Administrative Assistant to Dr. Bell) for a job well done. Blessings,

Visit with alumnus, Paul Chishala - A Letter from President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends,
Last week my wife, Faith, and I attended the National Black Conference of the Assemblies of God, in Kansas City, Missouri. One of our graduates was also attending the Conference. Rev. Paul Chishala (Class of 2006) and his wife, Nancy, are presently residing in Arlington, Texas. Paul came to us from Zambia, Africa. Upon his graduation from Faith, he transferred to Southwestern University of the Assemblies of God. He recently received his Master's degree from that school. Paul and Nancy are praying about planting a church in New England. It was wonderful to fellowship with the Chishalas and hear what God is doing in and through them.

It is always interesting to have siblings in school. William and Roberge Choulotte are from the island of Haiti. Both have their own, separate, unique personalities, but are alike in other ways. William plays the piano and bass guitar. Roberge also plays the guitar. Both men sing and are members of the Voices of Faith. William was one of the assistant residents in the dormitory last fall. Student Profile (cont.) - from the President Dr. Jeffrey Bell
Dear Friends,
The summer is busy as usual and we sincerely appreciate your prayers. Here is more of our segment - Meet the Students.
An unassuming man, Ron came to school two days after he and his wife, Danielle, were married in 2008. That first year they lived in one room in the dormitory. For the next two years, Ron worked while Danielle finished her education at Faith. He returned in the fall of 2011 as a full-time student and part-time maintenance man. Demonstrating his leadership ability (in several areas), he received the Dr. R.K. Pier Leadership award at our recent graduation.
Ron is well-loved by both students and staff. He has a great sense of humor, and a teachable attitude.

Student Profile - A Letter From President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends,
Our
staff believes the most important person at Faith goes by the name of
"STUDENT". We are so grateful to God for the students He sends us to mentor for ministry. We would like to pay homage to some of them in the e-mails that we write this summer.
We
want to begin with Miss Jenna Gemmill. She came to us from Eastern
Assembly of God in Baltimore, Maryland. Jenna has completed one year.
She left the big city of Baltimore this summer to do an internship with
Face 2 Face Ministries in Keystone, South Dakota. Face 2 Face conducts
various ministries including evangelism.
We
are very proud of Jenna, and the stand that she takes for Jesus. Please
keep her in your prayers as she ministers this summer.

"homework". Please pray for them as they make preparation to return to
their respective campuses for the fall 2012 semester.

News From Crusades- A Letter From President Dr. Jeffery A. Bell
Dear Friends, The students returned from Spring Crusade with wonderful reports of what God did in and through them. They were in churches as far north as Ontario, Canada, and as far south as Virginia. There were reports of approximately twenty people who gave their hearts to Jesus. One of the students, herself, received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We are amazed at how often God gives wisdom in sending just the right student to a church. One young man who has a particular sickness was sent to a church where someone who had just been diagnosed with the same sickness had need of encouragement. We did not know about that person in the church, but God did. Crusade is an important part of our curriculum. Students take what they learn in the classroom and apply it in the practical realm. We are indeed grateful to the host churches. Blessings,(Dr.) Jeffrey A. Bell President |

Crusades- A Letter from President Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends, There was much excitement as students left for Spring Crusade on March 8 and 9. There was much talk about preaching, teaching, singing, and doing maintenance work. They are traveling as far north as Ontario, Canada, and as far south as Virginia. We appreciate all those churches and pastors who are giving our students on-site practical training. Students have an opportunity to put what they have learned in the classroom into real-life experience. Dr. Gail A. Januskiewicz and the Drama team will be in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. I will be traveling with the Faith Trio. If we are in your area, we would enjoy meeting you. Blessings,(Dr.) Jeffrey A. Bell President |

Passing of two Faith Soldiers- A Letter From President Dr. Jeffrey. A. Bell
Dear Friends, This past week two of our Faith soldiers went home to be with the Lord. They will be missed in our ranks. Rev. David Jones (1966) of Wade, North Carolina, passed away on February 18, 2012. He was 76 years old. Over the years he and his wife, Mary-Jane (Pier) pastored in different places, and he drove truck to supplement his income. He ministered at Faith as a teacher and bookkeeper for a few years. Rev. David Britenriker (1989) of Pembroke, New Hampshire, passed away on February 22, 2012, at the age of 50, after a bout with cancer. David and his wife, Debbie (Rzonca) ministered as the Headmasters at the Jamaican branch of Faith. Over the years they have been very loyal to the church wherever they attended. Please pray for the families of these two well-loved graduates. Blessings, (Dr.) Jeffrey A. Bell President |

Faith Auditorium- A Letter from President Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell
Dear Friends, For many, many years our gymnasium has needed repairs and a face lift. It is our delight to tell you that the renovation of the inside of the gymnasium is underway. It will be made into an all-purpose facility - gymnasium, convention, and banquet room - Faith Auditorium. We will be able to continue its use as a gym, and also house special events. The reconstruction should be done by the middle of March. We are very grateful to God for the provision that has been made for our campus over the last year and a half. Blessings, (Dr.) Jeffrey A. We ask an interest in your prayers as Faith Mentors for Ministry in Ghana. The college is led by Headmaster Michael Coombes and Mrs. Coombes is the Dean of the Agricultural Department. Mid-Years and Scholarships- A letter From President Dr. Jeffery A. Bell
Dear Friends, A new semester has begun at Faith. On January 6, 2012, we welcomed ten students as midyears. This is one of the largest mid-year classes that we have had in quite some time. Rev. Ed Michael of Baltimore, Maryland, preached the opening services. He brought inspiring messages, which we will not soon forget. Do keep us in your prayers as we continue to MENTOR FOR MINISTRY. We want to extend a very special thank you to the Brennan family of Northfield, Massachusetts. Sean Brennan died in a car accident a few years ago. He was in his senior year at Faith. The Brennans give funds for a scholarship each year. This year the scholarship was divided between Mr. Bryan DeLeon of Skowhegan, Maine, and Mrs. Gail Lund of West Warwick, Rhode Island. If there is anyone that would like to add to this scholarship fund, we know it would be deeply appreciated by both the Brennans and our students. Blessings, (Dr.) Jeffrey A. Bell President |
