Encounter with God!

November 14, 2014
Dear Friend,

It was our pleasure to host Campus Days from November 06-08. Forty-eight participants and seven chaperones came to the campus on Thursday afternoon.
That evening they enjoyed a time of games and chapel activities. On Friday morning participants attended prayers and classes, and in the afternoon they were involved in various social activities. Mr. Eberton Ribiero, a freshman from Brazil was the winner of the Ping-Pong Tournament. Mr. Turner McLaughlin of Perham, Maine, was the winner of Super Smash Brawl.

Friday evening service is always the highlight of the weekend. I had the privilege of preaching the evening message on the Peniel Encounter. You can watch the full sermon online by visiting www.faithschool.org. Many were found at the altar, seeking the Lord.

Each campus days we hold a drawing for a $500.00 scholarship to Faith. Eight people filed applications during this weekend, and a name was drawn.  Congratulations to Mr. Daniel Austin of Winthrop, Maine, for winning the scholarship.

Crusaders Return

Dear Friends,

Recently our students returned from 10 days of ministry on Crusades.  They traveled  as far south as Virginia and as far north as Nova Scotia, Canada. Among other activities, students  preached, taught, sang, worked soup kitchens, and did street work.

Andrew McLaughlin of Perham, Maine -  (traveled with Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell) "This was an amazing crusade! I had such a fantastic time ministering to all these churches.  The greatest thing I got out of this crusade is, 'God's about to do a new thing.'  I'm excited to see what that is!"

Caitlyn MacDonald of New Britain, Connecticut -  (City Reach Church in Bangor, Maine)  did some street work.  Was amazed at how she felt drawn to speak with one young lady.  It didn't look like she could, but God made a way.

Ashley Misner of Skowhegan, Maine -  (City Reach Church in Bangor, Maine) had opportunity to work in the nursery.  She felt like those little ones were taking in what she was saying.

Jacinta Hinckley of Oakfield, Maine - (Patten Pentecostal Church in Patten, Maine) had the opportunity to teach Sunday School.    She was happy to be able to work with youth as her desire is to be a youth pastor.

Jeremiah Eldridge of Detroit, Maine, (Narrow Passage Church in Middletown, Virginia) had the opportunity to be an encouragement to a high school student who would one day like to attend FST.  He is keeping in contact with that young man.

We are excited for this coming weekend, as we host nearly 50 Campus Days visitors.  We ask you to pray with us that they will have an "Encounter" with God while they are here.

Blessings,
