A NEW SEMESTER!

January 16, 2015
Dear Friend,

WHAT DO INDIA, NEW JERSEY, GEORGIA, AND MAINE HAVE IN COMMON?

We welcomed our students on Thursday, January 08th. The returning students were happy to be here. The new students from India, New Jersey, Georgia, and Maine, were a little nervous on arriving, but soon felt right at home. Our Friday night altar service was a blessed time as we considered the question "What Are You Looking At?" That was my sermon title for the service.

Faith School is dedicated to training men and women for ministry. In order to minister in today's world a man or woman must be filled and anointed with the Holy Spirit. We are believing the Lord for a great move of the Holy Spirit this semester. We will sincerely appreciate your prayers. Please feel free to join us for Friday night service, either in person or on-line.
Blessings,
(Dr.) Jeffrey Bell

God's Healing Touch for Me!

January 9, 2015
Dear Friend,

As some of you may have heard, I have been incapacitated since the beginning of November with a sciatic problem. I was scheduled to have surgery onJanuary 20th. I want to praise God for His healing touch. He is still in the miracle working business. Thus, I will not need the surgery. I am very excited to be back doing the work of God. I want to thank the staff, students, and friends who prayed for me. I give thanks to my wife, Faith, who took special care of me during this time. Thank you to my staff that carried the work when I was not able to be here.

Our students returned to school yesterday (January 08). We are happy to see the returning students, and excited to meet some new ones. We will be back-on-line with the Friday night service tonight (January 09, AT 7:00 P.M.). We trust that you will be able to join us.

Blessings,

Merry Christmas!!!

Dear Friend,

Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Faith School is so glad to be celebrating the "reason for the season." Happy Birthday, Jesus! Students and staff held the annual Christmas banquet on Saturday evening, December 13th. The student association served a delicious meal, and various skits and special music were presented afterward. The banquet was a good time for all.

We want to take this opportunity to wish you, and your family, a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR. We pray that you will be blessed with happiness, good health, and provision for every need.
Students will leave for Christmas break on Friday, December 19th and will return, along with some new students, onJanuary 8th.

Blessings,
(Dr.) Jeffrey Bell
President

NEW PREACHERS

Dear Friend,
Our Homiletics I (formerly known as Public Speaking) class will be preaching on Monday, December 8 and Tuesday, December 9, at 6:30 P.M. in the Elva P. Valerius Chapel. They will be applying principles that they have learned in class this semester. For some, it will be their first full-length sermon. We invite you to come and support them in their endeavors.

We are always thankful for what the Lord provides for the different departments of the school, whether it be finances, food, or office supplies. A few weeks ago a couple gave us thirty rolls of scotch tape. Recently a lady gave us a box of copy paper. The next day a man brought us six boxes of copy paper. These gifts will sace us a few hundred dollars. May God bless these people for their thoughtfulness of Faith.

Blessings,

Encounter with God!

November 14, 2014
Dear Friend,

It was our pleasure to host Campus Days from November 06-08. Forty-eight participants and seven chaperones came to the campus on Thursday afternoon.
That evening they enjoyed a time of games and chapel activities. On Friday morning participants attended prayers and classes, and in the afternoon they were involved in various social activities. Mr. Eberton Ribiero, a freshman from Brazil was the winner of the Ping-Pong Tournament. Mr. Turner McLaughlin of Perham, Maine, was the winner of Super Smash Brawl.

Friday evening service is always the highlight of the weekend. I had the privilege of preaching the evening message on the Peniel Encounter. You can watch the full sermon online by visiting www.faithschool.org. Many were found at the altar, seeking the Lord.

Each campus days we hold a drawing for a $500.00 scholarship to Faith. Eight people filed applications during this weekend, and a name was drawn.  Congratulations to Mr. Daniel Austin of Winthrop, Maine, for winning the scholarship.

Blessings,

Crusaders Return

Dear Friends,

Recently our students returned from 10 days of ministry on Crusades.  They traveled  as far south as Virginia and as far north as Nova Scotia, Canada. Among other activities, students  preached, taught, sang, worked soup kitchens, and did street work.

Andrew McLaughlin of Perham, Maine -  (traveled with Dr. Jeffrey A. Bell) "This was an amazing crusade! I had such a fantastic time ministering to all these churches.  The greatest thing I got out of this crusade is, 'God's about to do a new thing.'  I'm excited to see what that is!"

Caitlyn MacDonald of New Britain, Connecticut -  (City Reach Church in Bangor, Maine)  did some street work.  Was amazed at how she felt drawn to speak with one young lady.  It didn't look like she could, but God made a way.

Ashley Misner of Skowhegan, Maine -  (City Reach Church in Bangor, Maine) had opportunity to work in the nursery.  She felt like those little ones were taking in what she was saying.

Jacinta Hinckley of Oakfield, Maine - (Patten Pentecostal Church in Patten, Maine) had the opportunity to teach Sunday School.    She was happy to be able to work with youth as her desire is to be a youth pastor.

Jeremiah Eldridge of Detroit, Maine, (Narrow Passage Church in Middletown, Virginia) had the opportunity to be an encouragement to a high school student who would one day like to attend FST.  He is keeping in contact with that young man.

We are excited for this coming weekend, as we host nearly 50 Campus Days visitors.  We ask you to pray with us that they will have an "Encounter" with God while they are here.

Blessings,
