Look What the lord has Done!

October 13th, 14th, and 15th Evangelist Ted Shuttlesworth ministered here at Faith in the demonstration of the Holy Spirit.  The students were impacted greatly in these Pentecostal services.  The chapel was full each night and many miracles happened.  The combined offering for the three nights was over $13,000.  This financial blessing from those who attended in person and those who gave online was VERY necessary and timely.  Evangelist Shuttlesworth wanted the college to be blessed and received no offering for himself or his ministry.  In fact, he gave the students over $2000 worth of his CD's and books.
During the Thursday night service, we honored Dr. and Mrs. Faith Bell for their 39 years of service to Faith School of Theology.  Dr. Bell currently serves as the school Chancellor and the dean of academics, and Faith as our receptionist.  It is very obvious to me that the Bell's have a tremendous heart for the future of this great college.
The male students of Faith were recently blessed with over 100 suits from Men's Wearhouse given by the Northern New England Assemblies of God.  We are grateful for the blessing and have some of the sharpest looking Bible college students in North America!
Thank you for your continued prayer and financial support of Faith School of Theology.  We are grateful and blessed.

New President

Dear Friend,
A historic meeting of the Faith School of Theology Board of Directors was held on August 10, 2015 in Charleston, Maine.

The Board, at my encouragement, created a new position called Chancellor. They then voted me into that position.
My role will be to direct the academic side of the college. I will be the Dean of Academics, as well as oversee our foreign schools.

Rev. Matthew M. Ward (class of 1994 and 2014) was then chosen to be the President in my place. Rev. Ward is pastor of the Charleston Pentecostal Church in Charleston, Maine. He is a revered man of God.   He will continue to pastor the Charleston Church, as he gives vision and leadership to Faith.

Rev. Andrew DeRier (graduate of Zion/Northpoint) will be serving as the Vice-President. He will be taking care of much of the day to day operations of the school.

We are extremely excited about what God is doing at Faith, and ask for your continued prayers.
 Pastor Matthew & Darcy Ward

Blessings,

We are expecting a great turn out for the YOUTH RALLY we are hosting here in Charleston on Friday, May 1st. Pastors Paul & Heather Rogers will be ministering during the service, and we have invited hundreds of area youth and youth pastors to join us.  If you or someone you know would like to attend the Youth Rally, please contact Mrs. Lily Beck at(207)285.3373 x237 or liliana.beck@faithschool.org.

I greet you from Faith Theological and Agricultural School in Sogakope, Ghana, West Africa!

I arrived here on Tuesday morning, April 21st, and will be here for the week. On Thursday, we held a Board meeting and the future looks bright for the school. Last night, I attended the banquet held for our nine graduating seniors, and it was wonderful. Today, I am expecting two of our alumni - Rev. Julius Gusanu, president of our affiliate school in Nigeria, and Rev. Sarah Onu, president of a missions Bible school in Nigeria, to join us for Baccalaureate and Graduation. Both are graduates of our school in Charleston. Thank God for His great blessings.

There will be no Friday evening service in Charleston on Friday, April 24th. Some of our students will be away on youth lock-in ministry, and some will be attending a concert at the local church.

I will be back in Charleston on Tuesday evening, April 28th.

A Great Success!

Dear Friend,

We feel like our Spring Campus Days was a great success!  We  had over 70 visitors participate in the weekend event.  They enjoyed laser tag on Thursdaynight.  The highlight of the weekend was, as is always, the Friday evening service.  Many were at the altar dedicating themselves to the call of God.  Eleven people made application for the fall.  The winner of a $500.00 scholarship was Jose Torres of Connecticut, and the winner of a $250.00 scholarship was Isaac Tracey of NB, Canada.  Continue to pray with us that many more applications will be made, as we desire to train people for the great harvest of these last days.

My next e-mail will be from Ghana, Africa.  I will leave on Monday, April 20th, to be at the graduation of our students from our school in Sogakope.

Blessings,
(Dr.) Jeffrey Bell

Campus Days

Dear Friend,

Students had a blessed time on Crusade. When the testimonies came in we counted eight souls that were saved. Many others were touched for God's glory. Some of our students were stretched in their ministries, doing things they had never done before. One group took a prayer walk through the city. They had walked by several, when one of our lady students said, "I feel like we need to go back and pray for that homeless man." They were able to present the Gospel to him, and we pray that he will not forget their witness. Our two traveling groups went to several churches, and brought back good reports of the move of God.

This weekend we are in the midst of Campus Days. We have approximately 70 visitors who are registered. There was a great time of fellowship on Thursdaynight. Today, they have attended morning prayers and classes.  Several have requested applications, and we are trusting that in our Friday night service (tonight), God will call many more. I often say, "we can invite them to come, but God must be the one that calls them." Please keep this endeavor in your prayers.

Blessings,
(Dr.) Jeffrey Bell

Good Friday

Dear Friend,

We are going to postpone our Crusade testimonies until next week.

We invite you to join us for our Good Friday service, tonight. You may join us in person or on-line:www.faithschool.org.  The title of my message is - DID YOU HEAR THAT? My sub-title is THE BLOOD STILL SPEAKS.

Reminder: If you know someone that would like to attend Campus Days, there is still opportunity for them to sign up. Contact Mrs. Lily Beck at (207) 285-3373 x237, or register on-line by going towww.faithschool.org.

I want to take this opportunity to wish you a blessed Easter. Like Christmas, may you remember the reason we celebrate Easter - John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." May we remember Jesus' death on the cross, and His resurrection. May you be blessed as you celebrate this holy day with those you love.

Alumni Along the Way!

Dear Friend,

A part of my ministry is to travel to churches to present the Gospel and the work of Faith School. In my travels it is always a delight to meet some of our alumni in the services. As I was on Spring Crusade, I met the following: Frank D. Randall III in Warwick, Rhode Island; Rafe Sanderson, Walt Hoffman, and Brian Topolski in Enola, Pennsylvania; Jason Doty, Ken and Sue Fornicola in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania; Mark Garland in Rehrersburg, Pennsylvania; Ed and Rachel Michael, Jim and Robin Gurganus, Michael Sussan, Sarah (Shannon) Mentzer, Jenna Gemmill, Justin and Becca Hood, and Josh Gentile in Baltimore, Maryland. As we were passing through West Virginia we stopped by to see Jim and Sharon Schuelke.

We returned from Spring Crusade on March 23. We will share some testimonies with you in our next e-mail.

I Am Well!

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your prayers and concern. As some of you are aware, I found it necessary to go to the Emergency Room on Saturday night, February 28th. I had some pain, and could not catch my breath. The hospital did several tests, and sent me home. I am doing well today.

We would ask you to pray for the school today as a plumber comes to check out some frozen pipes and a frozen sewer.

Crusade

Dear Friend,

Students have returned from Mid-Winter break. It was a good rest for them, as well as the staff.

Students are now making preparation for Spring Crusade. They will leave on March 13th and return on the 23rd. Their preparation includes prayer (the different Crusade groups pray together each morning), study for classes they will teach, study for sermons they will preach, and if they sing, practicing songs.

The goal of Crusade is for the student to use what they have learned in classes. This includes winning lost souls for Jesus, and ministering to the church. Please pray for the Crusade.

Re-Count Your Blessings!

Dear Friend,

We want to recount a great blessing from the Lord, and that is our woodpile. In the fall, alumni and friends blessed us with enough funds to purchase our wood for the entire winter. For that we are very grateful. The winter season has been up and down in Charleston, Maine. Some weeks we have had no snow, and on Tuesday, January 27th, we had a Noreaster blizzard with extremely cold winds. Were we grateful for the wood - oh, yes!

Our opening Spring Convention services started on Thursday, January 29th, and Friday, January 30th (tonight at 7:00 PM) we will have another service. We will officially welcome our new students in tonight's evening service. Our guest speaker is Rev. Verner Drost of Fredericton, NB, Canada, and we have enjoyed having him.  If you cannot make it out tonight, you can watch live at www.faithschool.org.

Blessings,

A NEW SEMESTER!

January 16, 2015
Dear Friend,

WHAT DO INDIA, NEW JERSEY, GEORGIA, AND MAINE HAVE IN COMMON?

We welcomed our students on Thursday, January 08th. The returning students were happy to be here. The new students from India, New Jersey, Georgia, and Maine, were a little nervous on arriving, but soon felt right at home. Our Friday night altar service was a blessed time as we considered the question "What Are You Looking At?" That was my sermon title for the service.

Faith School is dedicated to training men and women for ministry. In order to minister in today's world a man or woman must be filled and anointed with the Holy Spirit. We are believing the Lord for a great move of the Holy Spirit this semester. We will sincerely appreciate your prayers. Please feel free to join us for Friday night service, either in person or on-line.
Blessings,
(Dr.) Jeffrey Bell

God's Healing Touch for Me!

January 9, 2015
Dear Friend,

As some of you may have heard, I have been incapacitated since the beginning of November with a sciatic problem. I was scheduled to have surgery onJanuary 20th. I want to praise God for His healing touch. He is still in the miracle working business. Thus, I will not need the surgery. I am very excited to be back doing the work of God. I want to thank the staff, students, and friends who prayed for me. I give thanks to my wife, Faith, who took special care of me during this time. Thank you to my staff that carried the work when I was not able to be here.

Our students returned to school yesterday (January 08). We are happy to see the returning students, and excited to meet some new ones. We will be back-on-line with the Friday night service tonight (January 09, AT 7:00 P.M.). We trust that you will be able to join us.

Blessings,
(Dr.) Jeffrey Bell
