Dear Friends,
Students and staff are excited about the makeover taking place in the Elva P. Valerius Memorial Chapel. The ceiling has been repainted white. Walls are a beautiful shade of green. Pews have been replaced by chairs, also in a green hue. The sound room has been opened up so that the sound-men have a better sense of what is happening in the auditorium. New carpet (green) has been ordered, and the chapel will be finished in just a few weeks.

Sorry, I guess I'm a traditionalist. I liked the hard floors. :) I LOVE the fact that you named the chapel after Sister Valarius! I remember having tea at her house. She was so sweet & kind to me. I hope to see her in Heaven someday.
